JOB OBJECTIVE

Guarantee the quality and availability on time of the written content in language, for customers/users and for Decathlon team mates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage quality of translations for language

+ Be aware of the Decathlon and country‘s strategies, in order to determine the priority translations.

+ Obtain context for the document and information about its use from the requesters

+ Ensure that the content is translated and/or validated by people who practice the sport in question

+ Ensure that the translated documents delivered meet the quality criteria (consistency and layout)

+ Build up a lexicon, to have the right terminology for each sport

- Plan the workload of translation, to ensure delivery on time

+ Schedule and plan workload (annually, monthly and weekly)

+ Follow and manage translation requests on a daily basis (new request, review, delivery)

+ Work with the requester to define a delivery date, according to priorities

+ Respect the delivery date agreed with the requester

- Manage functionally

Define and communicate the expectations and have them respected by suppliers,

colleagues and Campus services (terminology, quality, deadlines, conformity of tools

etc)

- Be skilled in and contribute to improving the organizations, translation system and competencies of activity

+ Follow training, and then train colleagues and suppliers

+ Animate the translation process for country, share it with other countries and Campus and help drive the improvements

- Manage my economic activity

+ Negotiate translation rates and services with suppliers

+ Set up an optimized cost organization

+ Track and forecast translation spending

REQUIREMENTS

- Detailed oriented when working with words

- Masters working language as well as English and/or French (in user oriented manner)

- At ease / very quick learning in using IT tools and has an understanding of translation

- Organized and rigorous, with the capacity to take a step back, in order to guarantee results

- Play sports
