Job Description

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

In synergy with the national level and response to specific local challenges, implement the most efficient communication measures to ensure the three pillars of communication: raising awareness, attracting visitors, and building brand preference.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITY 1: Co-construct Communication Strategy for Hanoi City

  • Master the National Communication Ecosystem: understand the tools, resources, and guidelines provided at the national level to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Analyze my local market to identify specific needs, challenges, and opportunities for tailored communication efforts.
  • Co-write the Communication Policy with the Hanoi Regional Leader.
  • Build the annual communication budget for Hanoi City.

RESPONSIBILITY 2: Coordinate and Ensure Operational Implementation

  • Promote and facilitate the application of national communication tools and frameworks, ensuring their effective integration and optimal utilization at the local level.
  • Guarantee the successful execution of planned operations locally, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and in line with established objectives and standards.
  • Guarantee the consistency of Decathlon‘s brand image locally by adhering to the brand charter, tone, and guidelines in all communications.
  • Manage and synchronize internal and external communications, ensuring a unified voice and message across all platforms and audiences.
  • Lead the creation and execution of local campaigns, ensuring they align with national strategies and local needs.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication of all deployed initiatives and tools to store teams, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared to execute.

RESPONSIBILITY 3: Manage Communication Activity and Measure Value Creation

  • Manage the communication budget for Hanoi City.
  • Debrief, analyze, and review the effectiveness of national communication tools and strategies within the local communication network, and implement improvements to enhance their impact and efficiency.
  • Measure the performance of Hanoi’s local campaigns and the resources generated.
  • Measure the impact of events, measuring their influence on brand awareness, engagement, and business performance

RESPONSIBILITY 4: Develop and Nurture My Network

  • Engage actively in the project group dedicated to local communication, collaborating with team members to align strategies, share insights, and contribute to the overall success of communication initiatives.
  • Engage both internal and external stakeholders within the local ecosystem, build and manage the relationship with potential business partners for Decathlon business growth

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Technical Skills:

  • Project co-writing and management: you need to build a communication plan and conduct a relevant analysis of the local context.
  • Collaboration with providers/ partners/ stakeholders: you ensure the effective implementation of the communication plan.
  • Budget management and measure all communication actions implemented (methodology, indicators, value creation).
  • Functional management of all stakeholders (internal and external).
