PURPOSE

As a Export Customs Zone Specialist, I guarantee the best qualified application of customs procedures with the right lead time and most optimized cost to utilize the FTA benefit for flows from Vietnam to all destinations.

• Comply with Vietnam regulation for exporting related to Customs and FTA
• Ensure no legal risk and maximize the FTA benefit for our company
• Enhancing the Customs & FTA knowledge to related stakeholders in the company
• Promote and be active in continuous improvement to optimize and innovate the processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

SECURE TRANSPORT & CUSTOMS ACTIVITIES

- Implement T&C tender

- Assess my T&C service providers, my vendors and warehouses

- Plan transport season

- Reference and maintain data quality

- Pilot volume and cost

- React to unpredictable events

ENSURE EFFICIENT CUSTOMS DATA PROCESSING

- Build SOP with relevant stakeholders to ensure the data availability of Customs & Compliance in the system.

- Maintain the data quality & minimize the gap between data in the system and reality.

- Utilize the necessary IT tools in my activity.

BUILD AND OPTIMIZE CUSTOMS & COMPLIANCE PROCESS

- Establish and Maintain Customs Requirement (process, documentation, data) utilized the FTA benefit for flows from Vietnam to all destinations.

- Ensure efficient management of all customs disputes for my zone to minimize their consequences.

- Stay current on changes in local customs/ international trade regulations and regulation and provide updates and guidance to relevant stakeholders

- Anticipate and communicate the impacts of the company‘s project on my activity & give information about the projects of my activity that have an impact on the rest of the company, and in particular on my customers.

- Initiate the necessary process to ensure the cost optimization with the best lead time.

- Consult and offer new solutions to match with the needs of other departments regarding customs/ compliance topics..

- Take lead in solving problem related Decathlon‘s Global Customs & Compliance guidelines and standards

BE A REFERENT

- Train and mentor other departments to increase the awareness of customs compliance

- Develop and implement comprehensive trade compliance programs, including policies, procedures, and training materials

- Conduct training programs on customs and trade compliance laws, regulations, and policies for company associates and new hires.

BE A MEMBER IN CUSTOMS GLOBAL NETWORK

- Represent for Vietnam (one of the biggest export DPP) to join global Customs community‘s activity

- Assist in developing the Global Customs community. Participate in the hiring, development, and training of resources as necessary.

LEAD TOWARD OPEX (continuous improvement): Optimize value chain, create problem solving culture

REQUIREMENTS

You love sports

You have Good understanding of logistics and supply chain

You have Experience in HS code classification, Customs valuation and Rules of Origin Determination

You have Experience in Export customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, Export/ Import Duties and Taxes, International Trade

You are able to multitask, prioritize and manage cross-functional topics, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

You are good at verbal, writing in communication and presentation skill

You have critical reasoning, Problem solving and Interpersonal relationship building skills

You have experience in data science/analytics is a plus

You are good at Project management.
